After many months of deliberation, we are pleased to introduce the Foxfire Guardian Home Program.  A Guardian Family is a steward and co-owner of one of our choice male pups.  We have spent the last three years voraciously studying and observing the various traits that make up the ideal Arctic Spitz including genetics, overall health, temperament, conformation, physical traits, drives, etc.  To develop a breed correctly is a vast investment of time, money and energy and requires A LOT of genetic diversity.  We have a few dogs in our program that live with close friends and family, but we are now looking to expand our Guardian Program so we can continue to add the exceptional genetics needed to bring this breed to fruition.  This allows us to expand our gene pool without becoming an oversized kennel and compromising the mental needs of the dogs.  Secondly, our dogs are able to live in diverse environments, from mountain log cabins to suburban homes, farms, condos and everything in between which allows observation of how this breed and our lines thrive as companions amongst diverse lifestyles.  Thirdly, it allows us to gain feedback from families on the dogs we assess as exceptional specimens of the breed, which is important because the breed's primary role is that of a companion. This means the dogs need to be well-suited to many different lifestyles.  Fourthly, we hope that the best representations of this breed will be thriving in different situations, raising awareness of the breed and bringing more great folks into the fold!  Without the right owners, this breed cannot exist as it should.

Meet Dublin

We are offering our beautiful young boy Dublin to a Guardian Home.  Dublin weighs 30 pounds with a wooly coat that is easy to groom.  He is a happy outgoing boy that is excellent with kids.  He is curious with cats and can live with them as long as expectations are set.  He does have prey drive with poultry, so birds would have to be contained.  Dublin behaves calmly and beautifully in public, walks nicely on a leash and has no wanderlust.  Dublin is playful and does well with dogs, but again, he needs to have expectations set for good behavior as he is of Nordic breed heritage and can be strong willed.  This handsome fella has medium energy, is not hyper, but enjoys his daily outdoor activity time.  He loves his hikes and is a water dog!  Dublin is calm in the house and will alert when the doorbell rings.  If you love the quirky Nordic breed personality that is charming and fun, this guy could be a nice fit for you.  Embark DNA clear so free of many genetic conditions.  Dublin is up to date on vaccines and is a healthy young man! If you believe Dublin could be a match for you, please reach out and we can discuss adding this charming boy to your

household!  Must live within two hours of Tamworth New Hampshire.  Please inquire for photos and videos.
