Thank you for considering Foxfire for your future puppy! We understand that bringing a new puppy into your family's home is a big decision and commitment. We strive to provide as much information as we can about our puppy purchase process below. Please feel free to reach out with any and all questions - we love talking about our dogs! It is our goal to place our puppies in homes where they have the best chance of living out their natural lives. But it is also our goal to make every effort to ensure our new puppy families will be happy with their pup - we take the time to understand your wishes and needs when assessing whether we have a pup for you, and we will always be respectful and honest!
We do not offer a waiting list. Please watch the site for updates on litters as we keep the website current. Subscribing to our email market is also a way to keep updated on Foxfire current events.
Our puppies are not placed on a first come first served basis. The first step in the purchase of a Foxfire Arctic Spitz puppy is to fill out the inquiry form on the website. We can then follow up with an email and phone conversation. Let’s discuss your likes and lifestyle.
The price of a companion puppy will range from $2500-$3500. Many factors are considered when we price our puppies including the expense of the litter, veterinary costs, stud fees, etc. Puppies that are closer to the ideal breed standard (blue eyes, husky markings, etc.) will be priced accordingly. Prices for our puppies are FIRM - this is not a used car negotiation!
Puppies are sold as companions only. We do not offer breeding rights.
Once puppies pass the critical two week old period, we will download litter photos and descriptions weekly to our website. At this time we can accept a 500$ non-refundable deposit to reserve a puppy from a particular litter. The deposit is applied to the total purchase price of the puppy. As the puppies grow we will start our evaluation process. Puppies can be matched to their prospective families between six and seven weeks of age. At this age, we will have a very good idea of temperament. We can discuss pickup and/or transport options at this time. If the puppy needs transport, full payment must be received no later than eight weeks of age.
Puppies will be ready to join their new families at ten weeks of age. They receive their first set of vaccinations, a thorough veterinary exam, a health certificate, stool check, multiple de-wormings and 30 days of free Trupanion Medical Coverage. We provide a contract and genetic health guarantee for each puppy as well as lifetime breeder support.
We offer trusted flight nanny services and door to door ground transport for our puppies. Transport cost is additional. Rates vary depending on location and mode of transport - typically between $500-$1800 domestic.
If a puppy is available on our website and is eight weeks of age or older, this includes older puppies, retired dogs, etc., full payment is required within 72 hours upon approval of placement. If payment in full is not received within seventy two hours from initial agreement, the puppy/dog will become available. All payments must be deemed as paid in full prior to transport.
Foxfire Arctic Spitz reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason. Our puppies are part of our family and we want to ensure they are going to the best homes possible!
